Description

This VAG-COM KKL 409.1 OBDII interface enables you to connect your PC to your car so that you can troubleshoot any problems in your vehicle by reading the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s) that appear like the ‘check engine’ light.

Use with VAG-COM and is intended for Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles 2005 and older only as per Ross-Tech documentation. Some customers have reported that they were able to pick up their later model vehicles, and the last build of VCDS-Lite was published 19th November 2012. We cannot guarantee that the device works on these later models.

For later VW Audi 2005+ cars please have a look at the Delphi DS150E Pro J2534 VCI device instead.

 VAG-COM is a Windows based diagnostic software for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda vehicles that emulates the functions of expensive professional scan tools. It is fully compatible with all models of the above makes of car or van produced between 1996 and 2005 (see below for more information on earlier models) .

Is my Car Compatible?

• The software will work with most Volkswagen and Audi models sold worldwide from 1994 onward. It also works with diesel engines. If your VW or Audi has a 16pin OBD II style Data Link Connector then will work.
• If your car has the old 2×2 Data Link Connection check to see if there is a wire going to each pin – if there are 4 wires VAG-COM will work – if there are only 3 it won’t.
